ChatGPT is coming to Slack, get ready to party
Salesforce worked with OpenAI to add ChatGPT in Slack. They also created their own model, EinsteinGPT. In the meantime, hundreds of apps are launched to fill your life with the gift of generative AI
There is no escape, you WILL use ChatGPT and will like it. Salesforce (owner of Slack) is the latest tech giant to claim a piece of this juicy, juicy peach that is Generative AI.
They worked with OpenAI (of course they did) and soon you will be able to stop using your brain when talking with your work colleagues. The ChatGPT Slack App will allow you to draft replies, summarize meetings, groups, or threads and also help you find answers “on any project or topic”.
So, there you have it, the craziness just gets crazier, and working in tech will never be the same. Sign up for the Beta here.
At the same time, Salesforce also announced Einstein GPT, their own model that will also integrate with OpenAI technology. It will be able to generate personalized emails for salespeople to send to customers, generate specific responses for customer service professionals to more quickly answer customer questions, generate targeted content for marketers to increase campaign response rates, and auto-generate code for developers.
In the meantime, Google is on a very chill vibe, they publish AI papers and discuss them with the community. No rush to actually launch something, must be that California weather.
Everything Everywhere All at Once
I still can’t keep up with the hundreds of startups that put a wrapper over OpenAi’s API and launched an app. I did see some, let’s say, interesting ideas out there. Most likely we will get dozens of apps on the same concept, but let’s look at some ideas first.
1) www.everylead.ai
Get ready to be annoyed out of your mind on your work email. These guys made a chatbot that will write personalized messages to prospects based on their LinkedIn profiles. I already hate it.
2) www.roamaround.io/
Biuls itineraries for you based on destination and travel date. Still very barebones, but I like the idea.
3) www.trynara.com/
Nutrition assistant. Could be a thing if they get it right, the AI that learns your habits and creates custom recipes, diets, and other suggestions could be cool.
4) www.Feature.AI
Another company wants to provide “A Positive Future Powered by AI”. Feature.AI want to build general-purpose humanoids that make a positive impact on humanity and create a better life for future generations. The plans look nice, but the idea is scary. Seems like they have some money, so I’m expecting they will ship some version of a humanoid robot in the next years. I’ll bookmark them.
5) www.chatbase.co
For a fair monthly price, they let you build a chatbot from your own data source. It can be a pdf with text or a whole website. Lots of room for abuse, but could be useful for some.
